The Netherlands Antilles was an autonomous Caribbean country in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It consisted of the islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao (ABC islands), Sint Maarten, Saba, and Sint Eustatius (SSS islands). In the present-day Kingdom of the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao, and Sint Maarten are their own countries, while the remaining islands are "special municipalities" in the Kingdom.
