MOLDOVA

Moldova (officially the Republic of Moldova) is a landlocked state in Eastern Europe between Romania and Ukraine. Moldova is a parliamentary republic with both a president (as the head of state) and a prime minister (as the head of government). In 1990 a portion of Moldova along Moldova's eastern border with Ukraine declared independence under the name Transnistria.
