Where in the world is Mali?

Mali is a landlocked nation in north west Africa. It shares the Sahara Desert with its neighbors Algeria and Mauritania. As a French colonial territory, it was a member of French West Africa until 1960. Its banknote issues are currently part of the West African States authority.
