Where in the world is Libya?

Libya is a North African country in the Maghreb region of the continent. It is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, Egypt, Sudan, Chad, Niger, Algeria, and Tunisia. It recently went through a civil war which toppled a 34-year-old regieme, and is in the process of transitioning to a democracy.
