Where in the world is Armenia?

Armenia is situated between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. It is east of Turkey, south of Georgia, and west of Azerbaijan. The Kingdom of Armenia became the first state to adopt Christianity as its religion, early in the 4th century (the traditional date is 301). A former member of the Soviet Union, Armenia now is a democratic nation.
